We are a handful of cat-loving women (and a few good men) trying to improve the lives of felines in need in SW Pennsylvania. On a daily basis we are busy caring for our 150+ cats that require most of our personal income and time. Our main mission is to provide shelter, food, water, love and veterinary care for cats and kittens at our Sanctuary for the remainder of their lives or until they are adopted into loving homes.
WE ARE AT CATPACITY AND ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW CATS AT THIS TIME. As much as it saddens us to turn innocent animals away, we are NOT a shelter and to take additional cats can be dangerous because it can jeopardize the established balance and quality of life for those that we have accepted responsibility for.
We will, however, assist caring folks that are interested in Trap-Neuter-Return (trapping and getting stray cats around their property into a low-cost clinic to stop the vicious cycle of breeding). We also are here to help educate the public (and assist where possible within the Sanctuary’s time constraints and financial resources) of the importance of spay/neuter to reduce unwanted cat populations and to assist in establishing feral colonies at locations where unadoptable cats already exist. We believe this is the only answer to lowering the number of unwanted animals, and we will make ourselves available to individuals committed to this goal!
We are thrilled to see our furry bundles of love get adopted and will get back to people wishing to adopt as soon as we can! You can email us (we check daily!) and, to be reached even faster, leave us a phone number to contact you.
We have our 501c3 non-profit status. That means any donations you make to Kopy Kat Sanctuary to help us care for our kitties and help others trap/neuter/release local strays are TAX DEDUCTIBLE FOR YOU!
